Welcome to CARE to RISE Project

In 2026, PARO is implementing the “CARE to RISE” project in the Savelugu District and Tamale Metro to address the challenges associated with unpaid care work among women while promoting economic empowerment and personal development. The project focuses on supporting women through capacity-building activities, practical skills training, and livelihood support aimed at improving their economic independence and social well-being.

Project Highlights:

  1. SEAH Training: As part of the initiative, PARO is conducting SEAH (Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment) training to promote awareness, protection, and safe community engagement.

  2. Digital Marketing Training: The project provides digital marketing training, equipping participants with modern online business and communication skills to help them expand their entrepreneurial opportunities in the digital space.

  3. Startup Support for Petty Trading: Selected beneficiaries receive startup support for petty trading, enabling women to strengthen or establish small businesses that can improve household income and reduce economic vulnerability.

Next Steps:

  1. Continued Support & Scaling: Through the CARE to RISE project, PARO continues its commitment to empowering women, promoting dignity and inclusion, and supporting sustainable livelihoods within communities in the Savelugu District and Tamale Metro.

  2. Community Engagement: The project will deepen engagement with local stakeholders, community groups, and traditional authorities to ensure the sustainability of women’s economic empowerment and protection mechanisms.

CARE to RISE is doing a lot to help women overcome unpaid care work burdens, gain digital and business skills, and access protection from SEAH. Come along with us and help to back this very important initiative for the good of our society.
